Default Raised on turn after check-raise

Hi, here's my first post.
If you check-raise the flop with top pair Qs with A kicker or higher (as explained in Sklansky/Malmuth's Advanced book), and then bet the turn and are raised by a typical opponent on a non-scary board, should you fold here, or go into call down mode?

What do you consider a 'scary' board?

With what little information you've given, the play of villian is near impossible to know. A lot of players at limit will do this in order to find out exactly where they stand. You could have been preflop raising with AK and following through and without an A or K on the board, they may have QJ or KQ.

Reraise.
