Default capping preflop from late position, headsup against bb

I noticed that I rarely cap preflop from late position, after I open-raised, when it is headsup against the bb. Either I have a great hand (AK, AA, KK) that I want to disguise, or I have a mediocre hand and I'm now content to see the flop. This must be a mistake.

How often do you cap preflop in this precise situation (i.e., it's headsup against the bb)? Are you more likely to cap with great hands, or lesser hands? Are you more likely to do this against loose or tight opponents?

I'm not sure of your question here. HU vs BB or a blind steal situation or what? I cap AA/KK/QQ/AK/AQs almost always from almost every position.

I suppose it happens most in blind/steal situations, but I'm really thinking of any situation where I've open-raised pf, it's folded to the BB and BB 3-bets.

Are you only capping with the hands you mentioned? If so, aren't you afraid this gives away too much info?

I think he means if you are in stealing posotion and get 3 betted by the BB what hands do you cap with if any? Do you want to look liek you are on a steal with AA KK QQ AK etc and just call the 3 bet and when you are stealing with a marginal hand and get 3 bet by BB do you want to cap preflop and with what hands. At least thats what i picked up from his post.
