Re: Should i have played any different?
That was played fine IMHO.
And if you knew before the hand he had AJs you would still reraise him all-in PF. At least I would. |

Re: Should i have played any different?
No way No way No way!!
Fine with the raise - but fold the re-raise. I know its a tough spot but this is classic satellite bubbly situation. There is no way, with your stack that you should be going all in. That even means with AA IMO. Jon |

Re: Should i have played any different?
I agree. Totally different situation if this was a cash tourney with typical payout structure; then I think the push is 100% correct. But you're almost guaranteed a seat here if you're smart and only push the nuts. Fold to the reraise as painful as it is.

Re: Should i have played any different?
gotta say i VERY nearly did fold it down, and i didnt just throw my chips in str8 away.
but this was a VERY tough table, it had been sitting like this for some time - people werent just throwing chips around, and when they did it was timed well. To me i felt very strongly i was ahead and if i won this hand i would have turned off my laptop and read about the rest of the tourny in tomorrows papers (so to speak ) How do you think the Chipleader played it? I hadnt played a hand in ages, wasnt in desparate need of chips and opened UTG. |

Re: Should i have played any different?
I would try limping it and fold to the CL's raise.
Yes, really. You have more than the lowest two stacks combined and over 10 BB. You almost certainly have no business playing this hand (but if you do raise, either go all in to begin with or fold to the reraise since it's from the chipleader.) |
