Re: Best commercial jingle?
Not really a jingle, but best use of a tune in a commercial would be United Airline's use of Rhapsody in Blue. True, most people think of it as United's music, but at least they get some exposure to this extremely great piece of music.

Re: Best commercial jingle?
In the last few days, I've seen a commercial advertising a Meow Mix clock. Every hour, on the hour, it sings the Meow Mix song.
Listen to it I can't understand how anybody could endure that for even one day. And, why would you want that on your wall? |

Re: Best commercial jingle?
It's not exactly a jingle, but I got a good laugh out of Aquafina's use of the drinking song from The Student Prince, substituting water for beer. Swede's nomination of Rhapsody in Blue was also quite good. If we're limiting ourselves to little tag songs at the end, I'll have to get back to you.

Re: Best commercial jingle?
I wouldn't run out and buy the clock, but the baxter meow mix commercials are some of my favorite (cat calls owner in business meeting, etc., starts singing meow mix song). God I love those.

Re: Best commercial jingle?
Big dog doesn't wanna chew a SMALL bone any more than he wants to play a TROM-bone. In fact if he could use a TELE-phone he'd call up and order this JUM-bone.
It's a really really big really big big bone and that's why we call it Jumbone! |

Re: Best commercial jingle?
The old school "I'd like to give the world a Coke".
The worst commercial jingle: New school "I'd like to give the world a Coke". |
