Default Note Taking (not online)

I am currently in a sustained downswing, and I am in the process of trying to fix my leaks. At this time the only $$ games I play are live. I play online at PSO. Havin said all that, I get to the point.

DOES ANYONE HAVE A BASIC TEMPLATE FOR RECORDING CARDS PLAYED IN A LIVE (NON-ONLINE) GAME? I HAVE TRIED A COUPLE OF DIFFERENT TIMES FOR SOMETHING USABLE, BUT HAVE YET TO FIND ANYTHING THAT WORKS.

PLEASE ADVISE.

Thanks for your quick and illustrative response. I'll consider myself enlightened.

But Seriously, I'm looking for something that allows me to record the hands accuratley, but quickly, maybe and excel spreadsheet or simply various formats that people have used.

Seriously, just take notes on the darn guy.

"He 3bet with 88 in LP and raised flop with one overcard"

Thats all you need.

I'm not really talking about other opponents as much as I am just tracking my own hands on a running basis.

But, if I'm going to that far, I might as well take notes on other players as well.

If your that interested in taking notes during live games about yourself, Make up a spreadsheet in excel that has checkboxes in each column for Raised, 3-bet, Cap, for each street. And before those columns have a blank column for cards dealt. The last columns could have something like the board, opponents cards and total money won. Filling this in as you play wouldnt be too hard, I just would refrain from putting your whole cards on your note tab before the hand is over.

Thanks, not writing them down during the hand kinda goes w/o saying. I agree w/ the spreadsheet idea, I'm just trying to come up w/ the best format, which collumns etc. I played around w/ it, but I still haven't found one the looks like it will be functional and efficient, w/o distracting too much from my play..

While this may not be exactly what you are looking for, I have a spreadsheet that I use to keep track of my results. I don't track every hand I play, though I do write down specific ones that I want to analyze after the fact. I usually leave the table to do this.

If you want me to send you my spreadsheet, PM me.
