Donked on flop, then turn
PokerStars 2/4 Hold'em (5 handed) converter
Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. UTG calls, 1 fold, Hero raises, SB calls, BB calls, UTG calls. Flop: (8 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players) SB checks, BB checks, UTG bets, Hero raises, SB folds, BB folds, UTG calls. Turn: (6 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) UTG bets, Hero... I really want to raise the turn. Is it standard to raise it, or read dependent. I just sat down, so no real reads; however, I put opponent on a flush draw from the donk. How do you play the turn? BTW, I'm guessing the answer here is raise because I am becoming a weakie. |

Re: Donked on flop, then turn
What if he has something like Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and decides to get bold and 3 bets? I don't raise unless I can fold to a 3 bet, but I could be wrong.

Re: Donked on flop, then turn
Tricky one. Against an unknown I usually raise for table image sake. I don't think its terrible to call down here either.

Re: Donked on flop, then turn
Okay, I'm a wimp.
River play? Turn: (6 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) UTG bets, Hero calls. River: (8 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) UTG checks, Hero bets, UTG raises, Hero... |

Re: Donked on flop, then turn
While I strongly believe this isn't a bluff-raise even close to 99% of the time, I make the crying call because I suck, but I'm fairly sure folding is correct.
