Finding chips on poker room floor?

Is it common to find pokerchips on the floor in the casino or in the poker room. I was wondering because people could accidentaly drop change but what about a 25 or 100 dollar chip in a casino? Has anyone ever found chips on the floor? Just wondering

Well what most 2+2ers do is take a 42” stick and attach a real strong magnet (commonly called a magno-stick by poker players). Go to Borgata and use your magno-stick much like a metal detector. You will pick up all the chips lying on the floor due to the metal inserts. They are mostly $1 chips, and more and more people are starting to do this so the EV is definitely on the way down, however on a good night you should be up $30 – 40.

I did find $15 one morning at the Borgata. Workers were re-covering a table and when they moved one of the legs, I saw three red chips. I immediately tipped one of them and promised the other two for a winning hand, and got three or four of them before the end of his down!
