Default I got knocked down, but I get up again...

Last night was all about controlling tilt. It got progressively harder after each hand. I don't mean to make this a bad beat post. I just want to know if my play was affected. Here's the short story. I played these four hands in this order (not consecutively). The full hand histories follow.

Hand 1: I have KK preflop, flop is TKT. Villain has TT. I'm not looking for sympathy here. Just want to know if there's any way to avoid this or minimize the damage.
Hand 2: No hand history. All in preflop with AA vs. JJ. You know what happens next. I wanted to include this hand for effect.
Hand 3: My top full house loses to villain's straight flush. I think villain's stack is too small for me to play this any other way.
Hand 4: I flop a set. Villain flops the nut straight. I think I played this hand badly.

All comments are welcome. Thanks.

Hands 1 and 2 suck, lead the flop in hand #3.

He did lead the flop in 3, you must mean the set of jacks, and I agree, way too many draws to slowplay.

Just want to know if there's any way to avoid this or minimize the damage.

This question isn't really necassary on these hands. I think this is why they are the most painful. As soon as the cards are delt, you're getting stacked. It doesn't matter where or when the money goes in, its going.

Thanks for the responses so far. It eases my mind a bit. I was only down 2 buy-ins for the night. I think that's good considering what I was up against.

Hands one and three are just tough hands. Four on the other hand, i'd re-raise PF and lead the flop. Not sure if the PF bump would get rid of KQ, but its possible. Either way, i think that even though you're in early position, you gotta define your hand. Facing one raise, JJ is still strong and with any lucky, UTG+1 will do min-raise still and that will be enough to knock out MP2.

if you don't get stacked by these, you are losing value way too often.

tough luck running in to the nuts each time.

If you "minimize damages" on any of these except for hand 4, you are playing some really scared poker. KQ is a very legit hand for #4, but stacks might be too short and pot might be too big to avoid it.
