Default pot limit 7cs

Does anyone in US play pl stud at all or is it an European phenomenom? I have found it on 24hpoker and ladbrokes poker, which other online poker room offers it? Anything written about it more than Pot Limit and No limit poker by Reuben and Ciaffone?

I am not aware of any pot-limit stud over here, and Ladbroke's is the only site I knew of that has it. I don't think that there's anything wrong with pot-limit stud, but it's a better game when played limit. I like the three-tiered limit some of the rooms in Atlantic City are using now, e.g., $15/30/45.

There's pot limit stud at Royal Vegas Poker.

Limit Stud is definitely where it's at, though.

I have found pot limit stud a very easy game to beat. At least at 24hpoker, the players are quite passive, they bet only a fraction of the pot, which gives you good odds to draw, and then they call your pot sized bet when they are drawing. Pot limit makes river play more interesting as well, proper bluffing percentage as described in ToP and more...
The problem is that the stacks have to be rather deep, otherwise many pots will be all in by 4th or 5th street. The high card often brings it in in pot limit instead of the low.
I think it is a great game, try it!
