Villain calls [$10]. Final Pot: $39 Results shown in white: Villain shows 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] - three of a kind, sixes. When he had called my flop bet, I had figured that he had either an Ace with a weaker kicker, or a possible set. On the turn, I half-bet the pot to get a feel for what he had. If he raised me, it would be an easy fold. He calls. From that point on I was relatively sure he had Ax. Thoughts? |

I'm not wild about your preflop call. I prefer raising or folding with this hand UTG. The flop looks fine, and though I'm more inclined to check on the turn or bet more, it's acceptable.
On the river I like betting more or checking, usually checking. What's your plan if you get raised here? |

Looking back on it, I did make the wrong choice to call with that hand preflop. Folding would have been the better option. If I had gotten raised on the river, I would have folded.

Don't post results, because now I'm prejudiced. I think checking the turn here is probably good, since flush hit and he could also have a bigger ace.
Definitely don't bet the river. |
