Default Sucking at O8

Running bad at HE so jumping back in O8. It's been a while so I forget how to play. Here's a hand where I know I butchered it. It's so awful I feel like posting it here is just asking for me to be banned by Mat. So I want to know what is a better line? Is my raise PF terrible? I figured with A2sJTs I had a very solid hand, but being out of position will be difficult to play I realize.

Also, my flop bet is retarded. I know. Just check/fold or what?

Thats a simple check fold on the flop, you have a terrible top and bottom 2 pair with no flush draw or low draw whatsoever.

If you don't raise it preflop, you would be losing money.

Personally, I don't like pre-flop raising out of position with many hands at all.

I agree. For me, since I'm still learning how to play PF, I think raising here is a big mistake. But because I raised, and hit two pair, I felt the uncontrollable urge to push it. I think I should learn how to play PF before I start raising OOP with good but not great starting hands.

Please excuse any erroneous comments as I don't play much O8 but I am interested in learning more.

What book was it that I read that the author said that raising pre flop offered no big advantage.(if it was Helmuth's book please ignore the comment as I do not want to admit that I read the book)

Unlike holdem which I will never enter a pot first in without a raise when playing O8 I often do. In this case with everybody in I definetly would raise but just enough to keep most players interested. Maybe to $1.50.
