Questions about affiliateev.com, etc

Please help me by telling me what isn't accurate in my "understanding" of how the affiliate buisness work.

If I sign up at www.affiliateev.com I can:

1. add my own account and other players' acount and get 25% rb of theese. But why would other players do this, to do me a favour?

OR

2.Get 25% rb on my play, I can then sign up other players and get 25% rb on their play just as they will?
But who doesn't immediately come up with the idéa to ask a close friend to open an account sign you and you would get 50% rb together of your play?

Or I could sign up at another site like http://www.pokerrefunds.com/ and get 28% rb.

This might be a stupid question, but I find this buisness very confusing. I've read alot of post and searched the forum trying to figure out wich affiliate to choose but can't find much such info, the only info I find is from sites screaming SIGN UP HERE.
