Default shut down because of the greed

Last Saturday, after the skin thing with Party, I was able to hook up with some other affiliates with some very reputable people. These were not rakeback people, but they saw the potential of getting us all under control and registering several thousand players and decided to work on putting something together.

After much time spent on getting a program set up, they registered some affiliates and those affiliates began to register players. All was going along fine until some rules were broken. This affiliate had us all agree not to post to any forums, not to send unsolicited emails, to remove rakeback banners, and some other things, which most of us did. Unfortunately, some didn't.

Some affiliates used their deal with them to try and get leverage with Party to make their own deal, others continued to post in here, others did worse.

After awhile, someone came in here to try and talk some sense into us. We are told that if we just took down our banners, stopped discussing rakeback at Party, and just stepped back for a while, everything should be ok. Over and over this person came in here and said why we need to do this, what effect things might have on Party, and explained over and over again. His credibility was put in question, people in here continued to do all the wrong things, and he left in frustration. Now, there is no rakeback, rewards, incentives, or anything else at Party, and you all are blaming Party, when it is you. The rakeback players make up such a small percentage compared to the BS/profit ratio, that they just decided it was easier to just pull the plug.

I would suggest that if you ever want to offer rewards of any kind on Party, you just stop posting anything about them at all.

Yeah there's rakeback, incentives, and the sort from Party. It's called the VIP rewards program. I'll get my money the 1st of the month directly from Party.

Now there aren't people who get rich by doing nothing. Not that sad in my book.

Lol. The best players will get around 15%, but most will get almost nothing.

Why the hatred? You would rather get less from party than from an affiliate. Nice logic. Bet your an awesome poker player.

Boy Poker Al, you sure are persistent.

Maybe if you register enough accounts and make enough n00b posts about this, the moderators can say there is a groundswell of support to do what you want.
