Default Granny Mae hand

I have Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and raise it on the button. All fold to big blind. two to the flop

flop is J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
I raise his check raise.

turn is a Jack
he bets I call.

river is an Ace.
he bets I think about raising to represent the ace but call.

routine?

Like Evan said, having another Ace wouldn't matter...Also, Q6 clubs isn't even close to the Granny Mae hand.

A) thats not granny mae
B) I think you are raising to represent an eight on the river, which is probably what confused your opponent into calling.
C) I find that it is best to put the glue away before i start posting....

Raising was good. If he reraises, you should continue raising until one of your stacks is in the middle or he folds/calls.

You both play quads jacks ace kicker.
There will be a split pot.
Anyway, I'd reraise hoping that he does think the same way you do. Once in about 200 I think he might fold to that raise.
But hey it's +EV!

By raising, you increase the chance of a misclick, albiet a slight one. It's definetely +EV.
