Default check/call this turn if you like money?

10/20 prima

I have the tables respect from playing tight and busting one of the action players several orbits back in a big pot. I have about 5k behind, villain has about 1.6k behind.

I limp after two limpers with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 1 limper, villain makes it's 100 to go. I call, next limper calls.

Flop comes Q84 2 spades
I check, limper checks, villain bets 120, I make it 420, limper folds, villain calls

Turn Q
I check, villain bets 420, I min-raise.

Should I be check/calling this turn and betting about 500 - 700 on the river? I figured if villain was being stubborn with AA/KK them the turn minraise should entice him to go all in? eh? Lead again on this turn? or value bet river? I'm not scared of too many cards.

What's a good line?

Why dont you just take '3 queens' and staple it to your forehead.

The flop/turn combination until the minraise is good because you represent a draw. I like to check/call the turn and fire a big river bet regardless of what comes. I feel like a lot of hands will look you up this way VS your line. On this board you definitely do not want to go for a river check raise against most opps because if you ck/call turn because most of the time your opponent will have you on a draw and check his hand through.

I really dont see you getting action from hands you are beating (with the exception of the nut flush draw).

Villain only has a little left after turn, just lead to put him all in on river?

At first I liked AZK's line, but in retrospect, I like your line a lot more. I think AA and KK will be paying off a lot more often to the river lead because it looks a lot like a missed draw (if the spade doesn't hit). However, if the spade hits, would it be better to bet 1/2 pot?

you're giving him a really good reason to fold AA/KK here with this line, so i basically agree with jason here. gotta call this turn and then auto-lead the river.

If you were worried about HIM having redraws then the minraise might be better. But you're the one with the redraws here. Call, bet any river.
