Default 1/2 and 2/4 at PP tightening up?

is it just me or since PTO came out and we got our own forum did the 1/2 and 2/4 games at party get tighter? Maybe it was just a rocky day today or something...

08 at Party isn't really that loose in comparison to some other sites. IMO the games are slightly better at Stars, UB, and Absolute (when they go there); and about the same as Paradise.

That said, the games are great there right now in the middle of the night. The fact that a lot of people are probably whoring the Party bonus there during the day probably has more to do with the tightness than anything else.

Yeah, the games on party have always been a bit tigther but today I was multi-tabling 2/4 and the average vpips were running in the mid 20s across the board. It was torture and i've never seen anything that tight on the net. I had to go play pot-limit to find any profitable action.

I am surprised that the 2/4 games are that tight, I think the average VPIP at the .5/1 game is probaby 60%

It was an isolated event looks like. Back to 2/4 today and average vpip was in the high 40s low 50s.

Yeah, from my experience the play has been a lot tighter in general at 3/6 and particularly at 5/10 on PP the last couple weeks. The 3/6 is generally all right there with games in the $45-60 range being generally palatable. The 5/10 game, in the event that there is even a full table, is usually horrid though with $60-80 avg pots. Oddly enough, the 10/20 almost always has a couple good games with $180-200 pot sizes and frequently ones higher than 200. I'm wondering how the games are on some of the newer sites like Poker Mountain, Full Tilt, etc. Anyone?

Thanks,

UB has consistant action at both those limits. Stars is more likely to have 5/10 going... but when 3/6 and 2/4 go they are usually filled with magoos.
