You played it fine. Don't post results or give them away in the post title, or you could get tainted advice.

The way the hand was played? No. I probably call down from the villan's 3-bet on the turn, as all you have been saying was 'I got a hand' and all your opponent has been saying is 'I don't care.' With the board having zero made straights and zero possible flushes, he either has another set or some random two pair. But you made him flinch first, so ni han.

Don't post results, though. It does no one any good, and it biases the advice. (and try not to skew your post torward the fact that you won/lost, either). Sets were made to win a lot of money with, and they will lose you a lot of money on occasion too. Oh well.

I'd play it the same way. UTG+1's call+3-bet on the flop would make me suspicious, but since he didn't raise preflop QQ seems unlikely. So you're basically afraid of one hand on the turn -- meaning I'd raise again too, then value bet the river.

If he reraised me on the turn, I'd just call down.

If you don't lose a bunch of money with a set, you played it wrong.

You can be happy the villain slowed down on the turn.

He had a great opportunity to keep pushing.
