Live homegame 100NL. 10 players
Villain is unknown to me and this is one of the first hands. He lost a chunk of his chips a few hands ago when he called a flop pot bet but folded turn so that doesn't say much. I have A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and limp in MP with 2 limpers ahead of me. Villain limps in the CO flop comes J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] checked to me I bet the pot and villain instantly moves in for 65~ more folded to me I take a sip of my coffee and ponder a bit and......? |

I call, we don't really have a lot of info on villain's range, so it's quite wide, we have him in pretty bad shape when he's behind, and we have outs when he's ahead, I'll gamble here...this is one of the best flops you can hope for with AJs

Call, if he has a set or 2pair, we still have outs (and are even a fave against 2,4). But hero is ahead a lot and a lot of the time here, and when he is ahead, villian as verey few outs to outdraw

Without some kind of read, I am calling this almost 100% of the time.

Yeah even though he had a set of 4s and I didn't improve, I would probably call again next time vs an unknown
Strang play by him btw. I've been in this sort of situation some times before and they've had bottom 2 at best. |

im calling this every single time. in fact, i would be upset if i couldn't get in all in on the flop with either c/r or three bet all in.
