Default My Conclusion - Pokerstars is good for Players!

Having read a long thread entitled the opposite I was unsurprised to see the majority of replies disagreeing. Sadly that still leaves the initial thread title high on the board.

My reasons are simple - I prefer the software, the players and the tournament choice and structure.

Im undecided on rake issues because 10% of rake leaves any table every (insert appropriate timeframe here) which means you have to win to break even. Which also means that x number of other people are losing - see lori or some other maths wiz for hard facts on the numbers.
The 9 player tables issue is something I neither support or strongly argue against but it "feels" comfortable probably because I've played stars since beta and got used to the site.

The Tournament choice and structure is unarguably the best available of ALL sites ( I have yet to see arguments against this although I'm sure they have been made).

The regular deposit bonuses to all players and without time limit to clear are also significantly better than anywhere else I've played, mainly because there is no reason to adjust your game or playing habits in order to chase the bonus. (yes I'll chase bonus at other sites from time to time but at Stars I just check now and again where I stand).

The FPP system itself seems to be the best player loyalty system but again this is another of my gut feelings.

Navigation of the lobby and anciliary options are comprehensive as well and I'm now struggling to suggest improvements to the lobby interface.

Support for me is a question of results. I've always had them come through.

Worst aspect of the site? Undoubtably the buddy can you spare a dime/do me a big favour/ help me out brigade. They should lose chat privileges immediately and not get them back. Although the amazing number of times these guys live in a town very near you is always good for a laugh.

Why start a new thread on the same thing?

It merely serves to clutter up the forum.

I am sorry If I wasnt clear but the reason I posted a new thread was to make it clear on the board what I was saying - the other thread does not reflect the majority views within it and that is one of my pet hates.

Ya, don't be cluttering up a forum with... err... messages!?

Didn't you just clutter up this one with yours ?

I'm cluttering up this thread, not the forum. Apples and oranges.

The fact remains that you posted a message with no good information complaining about someone posting a message with what you "forum cop" don't think should have been posted in the place it was posted.

And yes, I do have the extra time on my hands to make a useless post in reply to your useless post about posting something that you think should have been posted somewhere else or not at all.

So you're saying if I ever have a different opinion about an ongoing argument I should always start a new thread?

Yeah, ok . . .
