Default Open ended straight-flush on the button multi-way ?

PP 20-40

Tex is button with K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

UTG raises, MP calls, Tex calls, SB calls, BB calls.

5 to the flop
(5BB)

flop 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]10 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

SB checks, BB bets, UTG raises, MP calls, Button????

UTG is very agressive, and MP is the definition of a calling station, no reads on the BB yet.

Do you like a three bet or a call here?

Also, any thoughts on playing the turn if you miss?

3-bet. UTG and MP will call the 3 bet and with you showing all this strength, not only do you build a pot for if you hit the turn, but if you miss the turn you can take a free river. If it gets backed capped to you thats good too.

Am I missing something here? With your number of outs you're the favorite to win this hand. You have a passive player trapped between you and an aggressive player. Raise for value. Or am I missing something higher level?

you are a fav to make the str8 or the flush here. 3 betting when you have a positive ev is the play. (in the worse case your vs a set, and your ev is a little different.) i pound the pot here and hope everyone comes along.

you call if you miss after reraising on the flop. unless it is heads up, then you bet the turn.

Thats assuming all of his outs are good. Granted, the flush/straight outs can be counted on, you have to ask yourself if its worth potentially losing a player or two. Hero wants the most bets possible to go into this pot on the flop, and 3betting might not accomplish that goal.
