Default Play Along... QJo Cold Call

I don't know much about UTG but I've seen him calldown with 77 with four overcards 3-way. I also don't know much about UTG+1, but I don't think he's a donk. The table has been loosie goosie so far.

I would just fold. It just feels like I have nothing more to say, I haven't even considered calling in this situation. We're often dominated by the pfr and our hand doesn't play that well multiway. And since you ain't got no reads on the coldcallers...

Folds. Our hand doesn't play multiway and is likely dominated.

hands like KJo KTo QJo QTo JTo are what i consider trap hands. i will never cold call a raise with them and most of the time i dont want to play multiway pots with them.

they are trap hands because they make secnd best hand too often. they have reverse implied odds. you will be paying off bigger hands on the expensive streets way to often to play them multiway or cold call raises preflop.

Looks like everyone agrees on folding. So I make an incorrect call and...

I think JTo and QJo play well multiway, but the rest of the hands you listed do not in my opinion. I see lots of people discount the multiway value of JTo and QJo, which leads me to think these two hands are underrated by many players. JTo and QJo make enough straights to be a profitable call for one bet against large fields. About the actual hand this is an easy fold preflop. Anyone who cold calls raises with these hands is in trouble

The pre-flop call would have made more sense with QJs, more opportunities for a win multi-way. With 7 in the pot, you have to call this cap back to you, huge pot odds.

Yeah I think you have to call again. Getting (effectively) 12.5:1 I think. Don't like the first call though.

Crap. So you're getting ~25:2 on your call. The odds against flopping a straight/oesd is ~1:8 and sometimes you'll ht a miracle flop like JJx/QQJ. It can become vey expensive drawing on this flop. All that being said, I still ain't got no clue what to do, but I lean towards a fold.
