The Bad Beat Jackpot at the Fort McDowell Casino in Fountain Hills, AZ is over $200,000 as of last Friday. I have been flying into Phoenix about once a month trying to hit this jackpot, but to no avail. For Hold'em, I think you need AA's full of 10's or better beaten by quads or better. I don't know what you need to hit it for Stud or Omaha.
I will fly into Phoenix to try to hit the jackpot again during Thanksgiving weekend. |

I would be really surprised is Aces full of tens is still the qualifier with the pot at 200k. I know Casino AZ had a 'super jackpot' promotion a couple of summers ago where they bumped the qualifier to four jacks or better beaten and both cards had to play (ie pp for quads, both cards for st flush). They started the pot at I think 75k and it got to well over 200k before it was hit. I wouldn't be surprised if the Fort was doing this same thing this year.

Sam's Town in Tunica Ms was just over 300k a couple years back. Quads over quads. Right after it hit they switched over to Aces full of 10's by quads.

[ QUOTE ] I have been flying into Phoenix about once a month trying to hit this jackpot, but to no avail [/ QUOTE ] This would not be at the top of my agenda for playing. Not anywhere near the top. im guessing that if this is high up on your agenda, you're likely playing too many hands preflop. b |
