I think this is fine. I wouldn't really bother bluffing the river if you get called because if he gets to the river SB is folding ANYTHING, but you probably clean up outs and get to decide about betting or checking (as opposed to calling or raising) if you hit your pair. Hell, if he's tight for that game UTG might fold A3 best hand [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

I'd just call the turn, but I'd fold the flop. Your outs are tainted, small pot, not closing action, villain raised from SB, etc...

I agree. I didn't think about the flop action but getting 7-1 on a hand that has, my guess is, 5-6 outs isn't very exciting.

i like calling the turn because an SB raiser's hands will fold here about 0% of the time.
