stats question
When someone posts that a player is "50/10/1 after 140 hands" - what do the three numbers refer to? I'm guessing it's a VPIP, SD of some sort, but I haven't started using pokertracker yet and am not up to date on the stats-lingo. Any links that talk more about stats would be helpful as well - thanks.

Re: stats question
I believe it translates roughly as "target acquired".
But seriously, the links in the above response are good. |

Re: stats question
Yeah, after reading the links above - that seems evident.
Although, the 10/1 part isn't too bad - right? Meaning, change that to 18/10/1 and it's probably a winning player, right? |

Re: stats question
Two common PT misunderstandings
This thread covers 2 misunderstandings that many players have about PT (I also didn't know them). Also, be carefull pinpointing someone's AF especially with a small number of hands. Say the guy is 15/10/0.5 after 40 hands. This would make one think he's pretty passive postflop. However, the guy's only been in 6 hands so he could've very easily missed most of them and his AF will not show his true agrression. Anyway, PT is a good tool but many of us use it as a crutch instead of an aid. Well, I guess a crutch is an aid, er, well you know what I mean. |
