GTA ........Des Moines?!?!

how sweet would it be if rockstar made a whole bunch of different maps that you could download for a certain amount of money?

how much would you be willing to pay for a GTA: your city here game? I think i'd be willing to pay 25 bucks to get a Grand Theft Auto Des Moines, just because it would be fun to rampage everywhere.

You would initially have to buy the main game, the 25 dollar thing would be a patch or something that is an add-on to the game.

thoughts?

I'd pay for a Boston map easy.

At first thought I was like wow how come they havent thought of this yet they could make mad money for each city, but then in furthur thought making well made missions to suit the maps may require more man hours than the price would merit.

Give it a few years and theyre sure to cover every city anyways [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

After thinking about it a lil more, I believe I'd pay at least 40, maybe 50... as long as the map included a large portion of town and had my 1990 acura legend sitting outside my house so I could joyride with it. haha

I think they could make a map available for different cities but to have story lines for like 10-20 different cities at once would probably be impossible.

I always thought GTA: New Orleans before Katrina would have been one of the best cities to do, with Borbon the Swamps and Cajun/Voodoo culture and everything. Would have been sweet.

But yeah I would pay to play GTA Houston, even without any story.

There was a guy who actually accomplished this a while back. Actually, it was for the original GTA (remember the overhead view?). You could contact him and he would design the skin for your program. It obviously for PC only.

I'd pay just about anything. Especially if they incorporated Airports so you could just fly to any city you had purchased. Ah the joy of destroying Honolulu and then flying over to Amsterdam to relax.
