5/10 NL QQ oop
I don't play PS 5/10 much. I was at the table for a while and I'm probably running in my tightest gear possible. Villain seems pretty tight, and sits on several tables, but I wasn't paying too much attention, so no decent read...
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $10 BB (9 handed) converter MP1 ($573.75) Hero ($1315) MP3 ($1295.75) CO ($1260.75) Button ($1082) SB ($457) BB ($4271.75) UTG ($1311) UTG+1 ($897) Preflop: Hero is MP2 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Re: 5/10 NL QQ oop
I probably bet 250 on turn and fold to raise. If he calls turn, c/c most bets on river.

Re: 5/10 NL QQ oop
I would bet $180 on flop.
CO coldcalled $80, and called a (weak) flop bet. AA, KK and JJ all have you beat. I think a fold is in order. Who is villain? |

Re: 5/10 NL QQ oop
I think the question should be what hands you beat min raise UTG+1, call your reraise and flat call that flop? Not too many(he looks like a donk, but I'm at least going to give him a little credit). Bet more on flop, 2/3 on turn and fold to a raise seems to be the best line. That or c/r all in on turn seems ok.

Re: 5/10 NL QQ oop
The miniraiser folded. Hero is up against a player who cold called $80 preflop. If he is a solid multitabler he most likely has TT+ or AK.

Wow definitely misread that one, my bad. In this case, I definitely take the first line I mentioned.

Re: 5/10 NL QQ oop
I agree with betting more on the flop. For whatever reason at the time it seemed in line with usual CB at the table, but I think when I lead so weak villain would be more inclined to put me to the test. The line I took looks like "I have AK, please take this pot". So I'm leaning towards betting more on the flop, leading the turn, check-calling blank river. If a spade or jack comes, i'll have to think about it.
I don't like CR all-in on the turn. I can't see any hands behind me calling here, especially considering I was playing very tight. But I wouldn't mind to hear reasoning behind it anyway. [/ QUOTE ] Once again, I don't play that game too often, but I would think his hand range would be somewhat wider. There is a good chance the pot would be multiway, he has great position and it's not that big of a reraise. So pairs and good drawing hands or even something like AJs shouldn't be out of his range here... AA, KK might even reraise PF to avoid 4 or 5 way pot on the flop. |
