What's the deal with SNG's on paradise?

Anyone notice that sng's on paradise take forever. It's like they just don't move. I can't tell if it's the slow players or the servers or what. Seems like the blinds never move then suddenly take a steep jump. What's the difference between paradise and party? Same concept blinds move every 10 hands, but it seems like on paradise it takes an hour longer to finish.
