Default Minnesota +3 @ Chicago

From the chicago tribune

The Bears issued no official word on the severity of injuries to Thomas Jones, Ruben Brown and John Tait on Monday, but signs don't look as promising as hoped.

A MRI test on Jones' right knee revealed a stretched lateral collateral ligament. The results are being sent to noted surgeon James Andrews for a second opinion, but it's likely Jones will miss Sunday's game against Minnesota.

Minny comming off a bye week. This just looks like certain disaster for Chicago. As bad as the Vikings have played are they finally due to breakout?

Have to agree - although many are invoking the Tice Rule.

Looks like there is a chance Tait will play. He is the key. If he isn't in the game the Bears are in a ton of trouble. Garza can fill in for Brown (who may play anyway). I'm not sure what happens if Benson gets 20 carries. Does he start to wear down the Vikings D like he was drafted to do? Or does he just continue his two yards and a cloud of dust running?

I really think as the Jones injury gains some speed there is going to be a pretty big move in this line. So if you like the Vikings bet now and if you like the Bears wait until Sunday.

I haven't seen anything on the web yet, but the Twin Cities uproar is about a Vikes sex scandal. Word is that many as 20 Vikings were on a local lake charter cruise that included open sex and public drunkeness.

Details aren't out, but Tice appears to be taking a lot of heat.

Edit for update:

Link to news story.

On the local news, reporters approached several Vikings in the locker room, every one said only, "No comment."

Last year, one of the national TV sports analysts said that the Vikings had a team culture of self-destruction. They haven't done anything to change that this year.
