Streak of badluck playing BlackJack

Hey all,

I'm new to that whole bonus whoring thing, after being successful clearing the one from Casino-on-net I thought I would try Starluck but this one isn't going so well.

How common is it to finish under with those things? I know playing perfectly give them an edge of about .5% but right now I've only wagered $330 and I'm suppose to wager $1200...I've lost 47$ of my $75 bonus so far.

What are the odds I'll finish under? Should I adjust my bet? I've played using $1 since I started.

First of all, post bonus whoring threads in the internet bonuses forum.

Second, read the casino virgin FAQ at BW.

blackjack is a high variance game.

If you whored 20 casinos with these rules then I suspect it wouldn't be uncommon to come out ahead on 12 or 13 of them and finish behind on7 or 8 of them (or something like that).

In the long, long, long run this BJ whoring stuff is +EV...but you can very easily lose in the short-term.

One time I went to a live casino and proceeded to not win in my first 12 hands (10 losses and 2 pushes).
Obviously if you get a start like this it is going to be less likely that you will be ahead after 100 or 200 hands.

Lots and lots and lots of variance.

I amuse myself sometimes when I complain about variance in poker...because I remember how really tame it is compared with BJ much of the time.

The Bonus Forum is a commercial Forum. People have always been allowed to post discussions about internet bonuses in the internet forum, I see no problem with this.
