Re: MIRAGE TUES/THUR & BELAGIO WED NL TOURNEYS
The Mirage tournaments will allow as many people to enter as they have empty tables to accomodate them. Getting over 100 is possible on a slow ring-game day. Regardless of what the cap is on any given day, the tournament will sell out. You have to get there early to sign-up and wait in a long line to enter the tournament unless you win a satellite.

Re: MIRAGE TUES/THUR & BELAGIO WED NL TOURNEYS
I saw from Pokerupdate.com that the Bellagio tournament is a $500/40 but it did not indicate what the entry fee is for the Mirage tournaments. Can you advise if it is the same or lower? Thanks
Also, are there many $50 to $100 buy in tournaments at any other casino or is that just not worth the casino's time? I'm a 3-6 to 5-10 player, so I really don't think I would go up to trying a $540 tourny. |

Their satellites are one table, ten (maybe nine) player tourneys. I don't know the entry fee but I think second place gets a small cash prize.
I think signing up for the tournament begins a couple hours before it starts and the line is looooooooooooong. |

Thanks for the info.
If I make it into the first Festa el Lago event via satellite, maybe i'll pass on the mirage now. Or I better try very hard to get into the mirage event via the satellite. I don't really understand satellite events for rebuy tourneys, but so be it. |

Re: MIRAGE TUES/THUR & BELAGIO WED NL TOURNEYS
When I played the Mirage Thursday tourney, there were 81 entrants...they had room for more. The final 9 or 10 were paid. I qualified by satellite, so I didn't have to wait in line, but it didn't look like a very long wait during the half hour before the start of the tourney.
It's now a $230 buy-in with 1 $200 rebuy...plan on making the rebuy or you'll be at a big disadvantage. You start with T550 and get T1000 more for the rebuy. I'm not sure if Tuesday is set up the same. The satellite was 10 players, $55 buy-in. You start with T300 and the blinds go up fast...kind of a crap shoot. The top 2 get in to the tourney, but you're on your own for the rebuy. Good luck and have fun. |

I just learned something interesting today about the Mirage tournaments. Deal making is no longer allowed. Every tournament must play out to its natural end.
