I don't think you can ever complain when you get someone to go all in with you when you have AA preflop. It's not one of those, lets see the flop first hands.

You played it awfully.
What you should have done in this post is posted the hand up untill you pushed in, then nothing more. Anyone who replies, 'HOLY [censored], WELL DONE' is just following the results. Sorry about the beat though. |

I'd say you spent it very badly.
What are you doing playing $1/$2 blind NLHE with your last $115..?! |

Don't raise so much. You WANT hands like QQ in this. Raising $100 says "I HAVE THE ACES AND YOU BETTER HAVE ACES TOO TO CALL!"

Re: that is what happened, down to the suits, how did you know?
It's obvious you lost so we need to put him on a hand he would call preflop that beats you. One such hand is AK suited. Looking at the cards that are out AhKh is the only AK suited left. It is an educated guess however since he could still have KK, JJ, 2d3d etc.

I guess I'm the minority but I think you played it well (being at party, in live play or another site I'd say you should play it diff) minus the first min raise. If you make a min raise like that you invite all sorts of trouble. You set the guy all in with the best of it. There is nothing you can do. this board though is the worse for AA. There is basically no hand you beat that called such a large raise preflop except 1010. Hope you get back on the horse soon.

I think everyone else knows he played it okay because he got all his money in with the best possible hand preflop. I personally woulda raised it to 50, and pushed on the flop. But depending on whether there are some crazy callers, I would consider pushing. |
