Scuba_Curtains: 88 hand: L7
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t300 (6 handed) internettexasholdem.com
Button (t3905) SB (t2450) BB (t540) 6c 3s UTG (t610) Jc Jd Hero (t1445) CO (t1050) Preflop: Hero is MP with 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. UTG raises to 610 (allin), Hero raises to 1445 (allin), 3 folds, BB calls 240 (allin). I think this is an interesting hand. The only thing I would be questioning while I played the hand is whether BB's coming along. How much does this enter into your decision? |

Re: Scuba_Curtains: 88 hand: L7
it would factor into my decision a lot more if my hand was 55 or 66, I instashove this.

Re: Scuba_Curtains: 88 hand: L7
I don't think it would factor at all. You have 5xbb and UTG has basically any two cards, perhaps you might stretch to 75% or something, and we have 88. What else can you do? It really has to be pushed over the top. BB coming along would probably even sweeten the deal rather than make it worse.

Re: Scuba_Curtains: 88 hand: L7
UTG should be on the top ~35% and the BB is playing anything.
equity (%) win (%) tie (%) Hand 1: 35.3467 % 34.70% 00.65% { 55+, A2s+, K3s+, Q6s+, J7s+, T7s+, 97s+, 87s, A4o+, K8o+, Q9o+, J9o+, T9o } Hand 2: 42.7162 % 42.39% 00.33% { 88 } Hand 3: 21.9371 % 21.32% 00.61% { random } I like the spot we are in here. |
