I've been playing very well thus far in this live tourney. SB has been raising my blinds continuously and then showing down garbage-hes young and arrogant
Blinds are 4-8k with a 800ante Hero(85k) is dealt 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in the BB everyone folds to the SB (140k) He minraises to 16k as i expected. According to HOH2, my M is about roughly 5. So i need to acquire chips. Is a push a good play here? Hoping to pick up a useful 33k, or wait for a better spot? thanks |

OP says he has been showing trash and 97 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] is 50% vs a random hand. Whats so bad about pushing?
Whether I push or fold in this spot depends on alot of other things like my stack size in relation to the field/payout structure/if I can reliably build ny stack with less risk. If its a tough table with alot of stacks that can bust me I push this spot. |

i'm pushing this, but i'm probably called by Aces because i'd have already used up my allotted amount of pushes this far in the tourney on steals/resteals
but yea, i'd push, especially against the person you described. 1/10 times he'll actually hav e a big hand, but he sounds like me in that he's relentless on attacking your blind, so take the odds. |
