Standard fold or not?
Is it correct to fold here with an ace dead against a probable pair of kings?
7 Card Stud High ($5/$10), Ante $0.50, Bring-In $2 (converter) 3rd Street - (0.70 SB) Seat 1: xx xx 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]___brings-in___folds Seat 2: xx xx K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]___raises Seat 3: xx xx 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]___folds Hero: Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]___folds Seat 5: xx xx J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]___folds Seat 6: xx xx 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]___calls Seat 7: xx xx A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]___calls |

Re: Standard fold or not?
Assuming that the raiser is a typical player, folding can't be far wrong, especially given the ante structure.

Re: Standard fold or not?
I'm sure it must be a good fold, especially with the low ante, but I don't like it. He could have 3 hearts, a medium pair, just 3 high cards, etc. What percentage of time should he not have K's for this to be a reasonable call? I don't feel like I have a handle on this situation. Anybody?

Re: Standard fold or not?
It's a pretty looking hand, but I couldn't come up with any good reason to call. I was assuming this guy was an ordinary player for these tables, and required a big pair or better to raise in first position.

Fold---but if you are going to play, re-raise it
