Default $55 - 2 pair - how do i get his chips?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (4 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

saw flop|saw showdown

Hero (t3470)
BB (t4255)
UTG (t3970)
Button (t1805)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG calls t200, 1 fold, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: (t575) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets t400, BB raises to t1000, UTG folds, Hero ?

Am i pushing here. is there a better option to try to rid him of all his chips? he has raised me a few times and could just be making a move here.

With bottom pair, you don't want to screw around. Push and hope your hand holds up.

Hi. I would put him on Ace (or Face) - 9, possibly with a flush draw as well...but maybe not the draw. Anyway, with the 2 pair in the bank already, I would go for the throat...immediately! Have a great night!

Push because its the best way to protect a vulnerable hand an probably the best way to get the money in (or close to it). There is is virtually no downside to pushing.
