PF call is due to having 3 donkeys to act behind me. Of course 2 fold and the third raises. On the flop I called hoping to get a raise out of the button. From the turn on things got out of control...
On the river he wakes up when the third flush card hits...should I fear it and just call the 3 bet? Was raising him on this river ok? just call the river 3-bet, and i would raise this flop, even with the preflop raiser behind me.

You should have raised this flop. And I would have only called the 3-bet on the river.

raise the flop. dont count on button raising. that's a long shot you cant count on.

Thanks for the advice everyone. It appears as if I have my passive and aggressive lines mixed up. Basically, if I think I want to check, I should strongly consider betting. That may clear up some of my lines.

[/ QUOTE ] i just reread your post. originally i thought you wanted button to raise so you could checkraise. now i think you just wanted him to raise so you could call the raise. bad passive player, bad! dont sit around hoping other players do the raising for you. |

[/ QUOTE ] This is a great way to tell them that you have a monster hand and are trying to extract the most. If you go ahead and raise you might be able to cap and they still might put you on top pair or a mid pp. |
