Re: 2/4 NL big overbet
Call
Villains most likely hands are kt, qt, jt, t9. If he held a set of 22 or 33 then he just got extremely lucky that you have such a fine second best hand. His bet looks like a weak T trying to stack an over/under pair. Thing is most players don't flop a huge hand and try to shut everyone out, especially at 2/4. |

Re: 2/4 NL big overbet
Fold, but I just want to add that you really messed this hand up. After the flop he easily puts you on a T and you don't know [censored] about what he has.

[/ QUOTE ] I don't normally minraise, but in this situation, I figured any action I would get would be from a weaker ten. I wanted to keep him in the hand assuming he only had 2 outs to beat me. After his turn all-in I put him on 22 and folded. You don't like how I played it, ok - how should I have played it? JKratzer |

Min c/r = suck. [/ QUOTE ] Does it always suck or just in this spot? I normally don't min c/r but I figured to be WAWB in this situation (WA is kinda what I assumed) and thought I would outkick him. I wanted to keep him in the hand with a K,Q,J,etc. kicker and didn't want to scare him off. I asked xorbie the same question, and I'm being sincere, how would you have played it? |

Re: 2/4 NL big overbet
You didnt play it horrible. I guess you invited A 10 to steal it from you, but it really looks like 22.
You could c/r bigger on flop, or bet/call raise on flop and lead turn, etc. I know everyone jumps on miniraise here, but i dont hate it. Gotta fold on end. |

Re: 2/4 NL big overbet
I would lead the flop here. You have a good hand and want to play a big pot. Medium pairs will still give you some action.
400NL players love to overplay trips. 22 is the only reasonable hand you are behind to. I call |
