Slow down with QQ?
Villian - 32/11/3.57, 45 hands
I'm UTG + 2 Preflop: I raise, he 3-bets, I cap Flop : 8h, 5s, 7h I raise, he re-raises, I 3-bet, He caps Turn : 10c I bet, he re-raises, I ..... Normally I wouldn't even think about it and just re-raise, but I'm starting to get a feeling that he might be beating me at this point (mostly that it seems like he has his auto-raise button checked.) I'm currently on a downstreak, coupled with being a bad player, this is starting to affect my thinking a little. |

Re: Slow down with QQ?
Just playing another hand, where I had AA preflop, raised, got Capped, the flop came xxK, the guy wouldn't slow down. I slowed down on the turn just like this hand (fearing KK), the guy showed down AK and I took down a nice pot. Moral of this story...Screw slowing down, Just because my suspicions (and I do mean suspicions, those were my thought on the turn) were correct (he had KK), slowing down is weak-tight. I should have capped that crap, lost a bunch of extra BB's and just wrote it off as bad cards.

Re: Slow down with QQ?
I think I'd slow down with QQ and call. KK or AA though of course I'm going full speed. Unless you have reason to believe Villain is a maniac, in which case going full speed with QQ won't be so bad.
Also, be sure to use the hand converter. Makes hands a lil easier to read and understand, and you also will get more responses. |
