AA on the button-weak
.5/1
10-handed Some background: Not on my puter so no #’s on villain. I took his stack about 5-6 orbits earlier when the J on the river gave him a set but filled up my Q’s. Villain hasn’t really gotten involved in anything since then. Folded to Villain in MP1 and he opens for 4. Folded to Hero on the button w/A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. I make it 12. Villain calls. Flop: K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($24/2 players). Villain checks/Hero checks Turn: K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Villain bets 12/Hero calls 12 River: K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]($48/2players) Villain bets 50/Hero folds. After looking at how I played this hand, the more I hate it. I think my flop and turn play is horrendous. I NEED to bet this flop, correct? And then go from there… if I put him on a set like I felt was a strong possibility, then I should have folded on the turn. Is this way of thinking any better than the mess above? Checking the flop and folding the turn—much too weak? Comments appreciated, thx. |
