Re: Am I supposed to get involved here? ($22)
pro:
u have 2-1 odds and you'll have 4k going into ITM if u win the hand con: u lose stealing ability...if u win it, the other 2 will be itm...if u lose it, u won't be big man anymore and u could get blinded down to short stack in a few rotations if u get bad cards |

Re: Am I supposed to get involved here? ($22)
I would call here. I hate calling with AQ, and I especially hate overcalling with it, but I think this is a good spot. If you lose, you're down to ~20 BB still. Calling here improves your chances of busting one of those guys, and if neither of em bust at least one guy is down to 1.5 BB.
You're probably up against like Axs and some PP. Or KJs, ya never know. I think the chance to knock out two people, but leaving yourself in a pretty good position if you lose, makes this a place to call. And actually by call I mean push over the top. Gigablock theory holla |

Re: Am I supposed to get involved here? ($22)
22's...with small stacks like that...I would call. They are getting desperate...I would almost guarantee that you are ahead of the first guy and it is likely you are at least in a coin flip with the second guy...anyway, unless one of them has you dominated you will win more than 1/3 of the time.

yeah, any call has to be you pushing...don't wanna give other guys 3-1 odds to call

Re: Am I supposed to get involved here? ($22)
I would call here for "Gigabet" reasons. You gain more than you are risking if you happen to win. There is a good shot the first guy has KQ and the second has 10s or something like that.

Re: Am I supposed to get involved here? ($22)
As much as AQ has been my nemesis, I push all my chips in here to play three-way against the wimpy stacks. The initial raiser is a short-stack who knows he is in the blinds next hand. His range of pushing hands is immense and your AQ is probably golden. The caller is a little scarier but he too is desperate and justifiably thinks this is a good spot to double up against the equally desperate pusher.
These facts combined with 3:1 pot odds and the chance to knock two out,you have to like your AQ in this spot. but you must push to keep the blinds from calling. And with the bubble approaching and already 3 in the pot, the blinds would typically need a monster starting hand to call all-in. |

Re: Am I supposed to get involved here? ($22)
Call (well, push actually). You're getting about 2.5:1. Also, if you win, you've got third locked and are a huge chip leader ITM. Perhaps most importantly, both stacks are very desperate and probably are doing this with a wide range.

Re: Am I supposed to get involved here? ($22)
I'd call. I think AQ is a reasonably strong hand vs what they are going all-in here. Ax, small pairs etc. And if you lose, it has almost zero effect on your FE.
