What were you trying to accomplish with a turn check mini-raise? I'd really like to hear your reasoning behind the check mini-raise.

I thought his bet was a pot steal attempt so figured a raise might knock him out of the pot, but also figured it was somewhat of a semi-bluff, with at least 9 (up to 15)outs to cover me, that is until his large reraise.

[/ QUOTE ] So why did you choose the check mini-raise as your option to 'knock him out of the pot'? Why that raise specifically? I just see that as the worst option. |
