Can you play AQs anymore weak tight...
My thought process was it was a little too early to commit alot of chips even though I could have (and probably should have) raised on any street.
Game #936083071 (Level III, Game #8) - 15/30 No Limit Texas Hold'em - 2005/08/17-14:37:59.6 (CST) Table "Orango" ($10 tournament) -- Seat 6 is the button Seat 1: slickmiester (1,330.00 in chips) Seat 3: chumjood (635.00 in chips) Seat 4: birdmn20 (1,380.00 in chips) Seat 6: The Irishman (3,080.00 in chips) Seat 7: ryan1131 (1,425.00 in chips) Seat 9: scoremore (2,150.00 in chips) ryan1131: Post Small Blind (15) scoremore: Post Big Blind (30) Dealt to ryan1131 [ Qh ] Dealt to ryan1131 [ Ah ] slickmiester: Call (30) chumjood: Call (30) birdmn20: Fold The Irishman: Call (30) ryan1131: Call (15) scoremore: Check *** FLOP *** : [ Kd Qd 5c ] ryan1131: Check scoremore: Check slickmiester: Check chumjood: Check The Irishman: Bet (30) ryan1131: Call (30) scoremore: Call (30) slickmiester: Call (30) chumjood: Call (30) *** TURN *** : [ Kd Qd 5c ] [ 3s ] ryan1131: Check scoremore: Check slickmiester: Check chumjood: Check The Irishman: Bet (30) ryan1131: Call (30) scoremore: Call (30) slickmiester: Call (30) chumjood: Fold *** RIVER *** : [ Kd Qd 5c 3s ] [ 6h ] ryan1131: Check scoremore: Check slickmiester: Check The Irishman: Check *** SUMMARY *** Pot: 420 | Board: [ Kd Qd 5c 3s 6h ] slickmiester lost 90 [ 2h 2d ] (a pair of twos) chumjood lost 60 (folded) birdmn20 didn't bet (folded) The Irishman lost 90 [ As 5h ] (a pair of fives) ryan1131 bet 90, collected 420, net +330 (showed hand) [ Qh Ah ] (a pair of queens) scoremore lost 90 (showed hand) [ 8c 5s ] (a pair of fives) I figured someone on a weak K...whatever its an 11 so players are pretty bad. |

I think the flop is a raise/fold situation.
If you want to play, you need to raise to define your hand and get rid of the flush draws. I would raise it to maybe 150-200. If re-raised, you can lay it down. |

[/ QUOTE ] You're going to raise on every street with middle pair with 5 people in the pot? Yes, I could play even more weak-tight and just fold on the flop... |

Re: Can you play AQs anymore weak tight...
There are very few times in an SNG that I'll raise 1/4 of my stack with middle pair on a flop that 5 people have seen and 3 are still to act. That's just me though.

Folding is weak. He's getting great odds and if it's raised behind him he can get out without getting cut too much. I play it much the same.
