So I hit my hand, but wasn't really sure what to do bceause of the flush card and the large amount of people still involved in the pot. I had just planned on check calling a bet of reasonable size on the river, hoping to show down the best hand. If I did bet here I felt like I would have to throw this away to any reasonable re raise. Really I was hoping someone would just bet their top pair or two pair. Any ideas about how to go about this ? |

People may not bet top pair or two pair for the same reason you didn't bet your straight. Since the only hand that beats you is a flush I would bet and even call a smaller raise but fold to say a raise and reraise.

Check/call seems ok. I don't know if I'd call 100 here, though. I'd call 60. The only other consideration is if you call, you'll have to fold to a reraise behind as well. Seems like if the flush draw didn't bet on the flop or turn, the only way it makes any money is an overbet or a check-raise. Also, with 4 people in the pot and no one making any moves, if someone decides to get tricky (check-raise) on the river, you won't be able to look them up. I guess it depends on how much you're willing to risk. I don't see any reason to lose 1/4 of your stack here.
