Player on Manhattanville College's women's team faces away from the flag during the playing of the National Anthem to register her protest against government's policies. Is the flack about this act much ado about nothing?

You know - if she really wants to protest and raise awareness for her cause, she needs to take her shirt off during the national anthem. And forget turning away from the flag - she needs to turn in the direction of the nearest camera.

The curse of the National Anthem? The first time the Star-Spangled Banner was used at a sporting event was the 1918 World Series (before it became formalized as the National Anthem). And, of course, Andy, you know who played in that World Series. Coincidence? I think not!
