Quick and easy PF question
100+9 50/100 level. Everyone is still in and around 1k. I have 850. Two people fold and I have AJo. I push.

Re: Quick and easy PF question
Wow, tons of people left to act. I don't know if I can fold here, but I think it might be right.

Re: Quick and easy PF question
I like to fold these situations. The risk/reward ratio is all wrong. With the addition of the 75/150 level there's plenty of time to nail someone without running out of chips first. I'd rather open raise allin from the SB or button with any two than run this AJ (not that I think that's a very good idea either).

Re: Quick and easy PF question
I think folding is fine (and correct), however I move allin one seat closer to the button (aka 4 off the button). You'll be pushing a pretty thin edge, but an edge nonetheless.
I also think that a good amount of my success is to know when I have a very thin preflop edge and to take it. There will be a debate about whether the play im recommending is correct, but it works for me. However again, I fold in your spot. |
