flop trips with 2nd kicker heads up
villian was aggressive. slowplaying strong but not monster hands seems to be the norm at these NL50 tables. i played the hand almost as passively as you can. would you have reraised the c/r, or called down in case you're up against a better hand? i know he's going to bet the river when i call the turn. also, hands like KJo in a limit game i'll throw away almost all the time, but i'm a little lost with it when it comes to these NL games. all the small broadway cards, for that matter...

Re: flop trips with 2nd kicker heads up
I like your line. You'll see QJ, JT, KJ, or garbage just as often as AJ here I think. Rarely a set.

[/ QUOTE ] Suited broadway = good offsuit broadway = not worth the hassle Play suited broadway cheaply in later position and be careful. I sometimes raise them in last three positions with good results. But they're only a small amount of the profit anyway so I don't think you're missing much by folding if you're not comfortable playing them. |
