I forgot to raise turn so lets push bad river
2/4nl in prima 6max.
Opponent just sat down with $400, but I have played him couple of times before and at least those times he made some very borderline calls.. almost calling station. For some reason that was only against me. I have $1300. Opponent open raises UTG for $16 everyone folds to my Bb and I call with 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Flop comes Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Opponent bets $32 and I call. Turn is A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] I check-call $72 River is 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and I push.... Usually I would check-raise the turn, but I remember El-Diablo writing that even bad player escape from turn check-raises too easilly. So I tried something different this time. |

Re: I forgot to raise turn so lets push bad river
what about leading the turn, it may appear you just trying to bully him and he may pay off, altough its an ace so it may be too scary

what are u doing in india?
you need to check-raise the turn because your cards are so vulnerable. |
