With no reads, I'd reraise to about $3. You're way ahead of a strong A or other pocket pair, a little ahead with Ahxh, and way behind to a set. I think everything other than the set will happen often enough to make the raise.
If you're convinced he wouldn't do this with a flush draw, you could call here and try for a check-raise on the turn. |

I think the only thing you might be beating right now (besides A3, maybe, if opponent is a donkey) is a huge draw, so if the turn is a scare card, I think you have to be done with this hand.

[/ QUOTE ] actually, i think i might lead the turn regardless of the card. if he has a made hand, then he'll be just as scared of the scare card. if he's hit his draw, then he'll raise and we can fold. if he just calls the turn, we can safely check/fold the river knowing that he was likely slowplaying hitting the draw on the turn. calling the flop then leading the turn costs as much as your flop raise, but gives you a better chance of seeing showdown or getting a fold. |
