3bet? River improves both of us, but lowers my relative hand value.
Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (8 handed) converter
Preflop: Hero is BB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. 5 folds, Button calls, 1 fold, Hero raises, Button calls. Taking control of the hand. Flop: (4.33 SB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets, Button calls. Semi-bluffing my gutshot and flush draw. Turn: (3.16 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets, Button calls. The nuts. River: (5.16 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets, Button raises, Hero...? Okay, my hand improves from a straight to flush, but there's now a better flush that beats me (Kxs, possible but not the most likely) or, more likely, he had an ace. Question is, does he have two pair? My guess is no due to his turn straight call, so should I 3bet? If he has only trips, I'm getting just one more bet, but I likely lose 2 if he has a boat. Thoughts? |

I'd 3-bet him all day. Plenty or worse hands than a full house.
