Hello all, when I was in Vegas during CES week some dealers at the horseshoe were talking about how the previous night someone in a tournament had a heart attack and died at the table. I am wondering, what do they do with his chips?

they blind them off. [/ QUOTE ] This is probably right...also, people make inappropriate jokes about a "dead button." |

they blind them off. [/ QUOTE ] When a player has left the tournament and won't be returning (normally through disqualification) their chips are removed from play. |

[/ QUOTE ] Sure, but it's going to take a couple of orbits before you find out if he's dead or just passed out, if he can be revived etc. What would they do if he started breathing again, the paramedics wanted to take him to the hospital and he decided he wanted to keep playing? |
